Day 365 - December 31, 2011 - [UNCONDITIONAL]
Meet Lucy Tseng. ”Practice FAITH.”
Yes. This entry is of someone that should be familiar to all of you. at the same time hopefully this entry will be able surprise you with something you didn’t know before. I feel happy that this is my last entry, at the same time I know I totally slacked off toward the end, compared to the entries I completed at the way beginning. I’m sorry. I guess I wasn’t as disciplined as I thought I could be. Maybe I can do this whole thing over again? We’ll see…
I love love. The past few days, I’ve been looking through stuff that I’ve collected and kept over the years, things/letters all the way from 1997… and I was such a lovebird back then! In 7th grade, I had a poem published in a book (yay me)… I reread the poem and damn was I depressed HAHA. Found a lot of letters I wrote with girl friends & journals that I wrote to myself about boys, school, family, life.
What’s love got to do, got to do with it?
EVERYTHING. :]
I was voted Most Athletic in middle school. Anyone surprised? Haha. I also found a bunch of stuff the first guy that I “dated” and I shared. We were so innocent and too adorable. I wrote a timeline of when everything happened & I guess the furthest we got was a kiss on the cheek (maybe a peck on the lips? I don’t remember). But it was all for good fun haha. Hope he’s doing well. I was thinking, it’s almost 10 year reunion for my middle school class! Maybe I should set one up?
Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter, & those who matter won’t mind.
Music, photography, & sports are the biggest passions of my life. UCLA Bruins will always be some of the best (and maybe worst? haha) years of my life. Coach John Robert Wooden will always be sometime I inspire to be like. Some of my most embarrassing moments is calling people the wrong name, or walking into things because I am texting or just distracted.
My dream career is to work with college-level student athletes in helping them finish their college experience with more than an athletic career in mind. I was to help them find, develop, & pursue passions outside of their sport so that they become well-rounded and are able to apply their unique skills to more than one industry. Dreams & motivation.
If better is possible then good is not enough.
I also have a dream to have enough money to purchase an open venue (like TRIC in One Tree Hill) so that high school students can use this venue to host open min nights, spoken word events, school dances, art/photography galleries, etc. without worrying about paying or even finding a venue. I believe this will help give youth a safe place to go, something to do, and opportunities to create & dream.
Family is super important. I have a handful of super close friends but I feel blessed to have people who care about be for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes I spread myself too thin, but that’s because I am a dreamer. & a doer. There’s a lot about me that people don’t know, yet I always say that I am an open book because if you ask me, I will tell you. I am who I am. & I am happy.
Hate is a sprinter, love is a marathoner.
… at the end of the day, I thank God for giving me another one.
so remember, always…
LIVE. LOVE. LAUGH. LEARN. lucy.
